Medigap (Medicare Supplement Insurance)

Medigap policies are sold by private companies to fill “gaps” in Original Medicare coverage, such as copayments, coinsurance, and deductibles. These policies can help reduce out-of-pocket expenses. You must add a Prescription Drug Plan to these types of plans to avoid any penalties for not having a creditable drug plan when eligible.
